Meet Rosie my Roborock Robot Vacuum

One thing I have learned over the years is to divide up the house chores into different days so it’s not so daunting. One of the best things we have done is purchase a robot vacuum. We came across the Roborock and it was so easy to install.

 Once you download the app and create an account and connect to wi-fi, you can set the vacuum to map out your home.  (Make sure to purchase a model with the automatic mapping)This will take the robot a few times to discern the walls, furniture and types of flooring. You can add what flooring type is in each room and adjust the suction power for each.

You can set the map to avoid obstacles by tapping  the screen within the app to place an invisible wall as well as name your rooms and place the type of furniture you have within a room.

You can choose to do a full cleaning, just the rooms you choose or you can even select a zone to clean.

here are several brands and types of robot vacuums, we just chose the Roborock due to value and reviews. We have had our model for 3 years and it is still cleaning great! We do have occasional maintenance of the rollers and brushes and have replaced the filters a few times. (You should empty the bin and clean rollers and filters after each use to maximize the vacuums life span.

Our model is manual emptying-meaning you have to pull the bin out to empty the lint and hair into the trash. There are self-emptying models available.

You know what’s great about this? It can all be done remotely!

It’s nice to come home and see the vacuum lines on your rug. It’s like I have a  housekeeper!
